November 16th - 18th, 2010 DIMA will be one of the participants and the host to an International Conformal Coating Workshop.
In order to provide the industry with more know-how on this subject a technology driven workshop has been organised to give a better understanding of the complete process of coating electronics. During an international conformal coating workshop which will take place on the 16th – 18th of November in The Netherlands, each step within the coating process will be highlighted. Starting with the preparation of the board until the very end of a finished and inspected end result. Cleaning before coating, design requirements, choice of material, application methods, reliability, inspection and quality control; every subject will be discussed. Speakers within the industry will be present to provide the latest update on specific subjects during separate seminar sessions. During the workshop a full production line will be producing a typical test board that has been designed to point out all areas of attention. In this production area experts will be available to discuss specific subjects while taking a closer look at each and every step within the process.
Industry experts During the workshop a large number of industry experts will be available to provide information on the various subjects. There will be four coating material manufacturers, four manufacturers of cleaning chemicals , three manufacturers of cleaning system , two machine manufacturers for applying methods, a board handling manufacturer, a curing oven manufacturer and two manufacturers of inspection systems sharing their experience gathered and providing updates on the latest developments.
